Why Are You Here?

“You have heard that it was said,
‘You should not commit adultery.’
But I say to you that every one
Who looks at a woman lustfully

Has already committed adultery
With her in his heart.”
“Reflect on the question:
‘Why are you here?’”

I’m here for my true love,
I have sinned
Like Eve
I didn’t listen to God.

I was out of Egypt
Out of slavery
I’m back to the Garden of Eden
To enjoy life.

It’s all about the thought,
When I first heard the saying
I was shocked
“Is that true?”

In my upbringing
People seldom think about
The importance of the voice
No one makes any effort to control their thoughts.

Life is like being a slave
To what my worldly desires
So the ego grows up,
Eyes are blind, and sin accumulates.

A poet, like a bluejay trying to make you happy, I can make it if you see me every day, and you talk to me as you wish, I'd love to sing to respond to the voice
