There’s No Turning Back

I have a goal in my mind,
And that is the truth,
Everything in the past convinces me,
Keep going I can reach that.

Sometimes it is hard,
You never know
What would happen in your life,
’Cause I only want to be joyful.

I hate pain or sorrow,
But it comes,
Without warning,
I have to face that.

I’m not afraid of it anymore,
’Cause I have the voice with me,
All the time,
Whenever I want.

I want it with me forever,
I believe in the future,
There’s no pain,
There’s no sorrow.

But all love,
Where I live,
I will have a joyful mind always,
And everlasting life.

This morning I walked to the pond,
Nine ducks and a squirrel looking at me,
With an envious eye,
I saw Disneyland for real.

The mind can be structured,
Like my posture,
The mind can be trained
Like a muscle.

The talk helped me a lot,
I know what is real,
I know what is illusional thought,
I just can’t do it anymore.

It’s painful for sure, but
I can’t avoid it,
Because it’s unique in my life,
The lesson I have to learn.

I’ve learned a lot.
I was holding an ice cream cone
After my evening walk,
There’s no turning back.

I have to move on,
The goal is ahead.
