Here, talking about ransom,
God’s gift for mankind, the sacrifice of His Son,
By receiving the gift, we would get what we truly need,
’Cause the ransom is Jehovah’s means,
To deliver, or save, humankind from sin and death;
To appreciate such a gift,
We have to understand what Adam lost when he sinned.
A perfect human life, back to the very beginning,
Adam was made with a perfect body and mind,
He would never get sick, grow old, or die,
He enjoyed a close relationship with Jehovah God,
He knew a satisfying job, God gave him, and expected of him,
He had qualities of love, wisdom, justice, and power …
He possessed free will, not like a machine,
By choosing to obey God, he would have lived forever in Paradise.
But, Adam disobeyed God and was condemned to death,
He paid a very high price,
His sin cost him his perfect human life with all its blessings,
Adam lost this precious life not only for himself,
But also for his future offspring.
