The Past

Past is past.

To me, the past is not real anymore,
Let go of it,
I would never focus my mind
In the past.

I’m in the present moment,
I always look into the future,
Because that is real,
Anything before this moment is gone.

It cannot be relied on,
It’s not real for my life,
I want to live an authentic life,
According to my thoughts.

The voice of the Holy Spirit,
Only presents at each moment in time,
It directs my every move,
It conducts my life.

I’ve learned so much in the past,
I appreciate it, and I move on,
It will never come back to me,
Life goes on.

Yesterday’s talk was about everything,
From real thoughts to unreal thoughts,
From money to trust,
From integrity to selfishness.
