The degree of trusting God
Shows the person’s faith in God.
Are you totally trusting the voice coming from God,
By being in the present moment,
Or, are you still doing things
According to yourself?
God took a way to teach Abraham,
So that he and his children would never forget.
Take now your son, your only son Isaac,
Offer him a burnt offering to me.
This command filled Abraham’s heart with pain,
But Abraham never for one moment doubted or disobeyed God’s word.
So he did, went to the place, Mount Moriah,
On the way there, Isaac was wondering,
Where’s the offering,
Abraham said: my son, God will provide himself the lamb.
At the moment, on the top of the mountain,
When he was trying to kill his son;
At that exact moment, an angel’s voice came,
Do not lay your hand upon your son,
Do no harm to him,
Now I know, you love God more than you love your only son.
What a relief and joy, Abraham felt,
Then he saw a ram…
