“Have a heart that never hardens,
And a temper that never tires,
And a touch that never hurts.”
-Charles Dickens

The tenderness
That I had never felt,
A gentle feeling in the mind
That I had never been trained of.

I was raised in a culture,
It was forceful,
It was demanding,
For the sake of the mind?

Now I know the concept,
I know chasing true happiness in life,
Can I control my mind?
Can I manage my anger?

Can I not think of a bad thought,
Whether it is for me
Or for others?
It’s all about self-control.

When I have a certain emotion coming up,
Can I not be carried away by it?
Am I hurting myself, or
Am I hurting others?

Because I have the goal in mind,
I have to know how to manage it
To get what I want,
So I’m training my mind.

A poet, like a bluejay trying to make you happy, I can make it if you see me every day, and you talk to me as you wish, I'd love to sing to respond to the voice
