Do I give to you. Let not your
Hearts be troubled, neither let them
Be afraid. You heard me say to you,
‘I go away, and I will come to you.’ …”
“Realize that hardships and difficulty
Should not rob you of peace in God.”
Peace
I’m seeking,
True peace
I’m looking for.
It’s not about the definition
I might define
According to the world
Security.
By having what I need
The material things,
The beloved ones,
Or my happiness.
The peace is still there
In the midst of suffering,
In the midst of turmoil,
In the midst of a storm,
In the midst of a falling sky,
Because the appearance doesn’t mean anything,
When I only focus on listening to
The true voice, the voice of the Holy Spirit.
