“The great tragedy of life
Is not that men perish,
But that they cease to love.”
-William Somerset Maugham
“Above all things,
Have intense love for one another,
Because love covers a multitude of sins.”
-1 Peter 4:8
It’s very dangerous,
When I have a certain thought
That comes from my ego’s point,
It would mislead my life.
It stops me giving love,
To love the person beside me,
To have an illusional thought
That kills my principle.
That jeopardizes my integrity,
I would lose my moral ground,
There would be no reason for me
To exist.
It’s worse than a physical death
From an illness,
It injures my soul,
I would feel the agony.
I would never have the chance
To taste what is good in life,
The moment I cease to love,
The moment I cease to grow.
