What David did
It always intrigued me,
I didn’t understand it
When I read the Bible stories,
There were many occasions
His deeds.
God’s trying to teach me,
How to think,
How to trust Him,
How to listen to Him,
How to have a healthy mind
How to possess the wisdom.
The mind makes the difference,
I was sick,
So I couldn’t understand it,
God’s voice healed me,
I gradually realized
Why he did it.
This is one of his stories,
Joab killed Abner
David mourned for him
Everyone praised what he did,
He made everyone happy,
His wisdom made it.
To me, he knows the truth
He trusts God,
He listens to Him,
He knows God’s Word is the only truth,
Every thought counts,
Life is progressing.
