“Hope is the theological virtue
By which we desire the kingdom
Of heaven and eternal life
As our happiness,
Placing our trust in Christ’s promises
And relying not on our own strength,
But on the help of the grace
Of the Holy Spirit.” -CCC 1817
I hope everyone understands my feelings,
The thing is so true for me,
I do not know how to
Use the notions to describe it.
But the feeling is real,
The future is great,
The Kingdom of God is real to me,
An eternal life can be reached.
True happiness can be tasted,
I trust God,
I believe in His promises,
As Jesus Christ repeats.
I believe it will come true
For sure, for everybody
We need to keep it in hope,
One day, we are going to see it.
From my past experiences,
I see the trend of it,
I don’t rely on my own judgment,
I don’t rely on my own strength.
