Listen to God,
You pray for what you want
You listen to the voice,
You have the right thoughts
You do the right thing,
You get what you want.
You don’t need to scheme
You don’t need to plan on your own
To get the thing,
That’s your ego’s point,
It only sees the appearance
It reacts to it.
Absalom had a big scheme
He wanted to be the king,
He tried to win as many people
To support him
And many people were attracted to him,
Ahithophel was in the conspiracy.
David fled from Jerusalem
Tried to survive,
The loyal were with him,
David trusted in God
Not the appearance, tabernacle with him
He remained a nobleman, listening to the voice.
Genuine love is the key,
Though Absalom was against David
David still loved his son truly,
David asked God for help
He’s determined to win the battle
To love the people…
