I was a student in a classroom,
The teacher asked us
To write down who you are,
What are the qualities you possess,
I had to be true to myself,
I am good, blah, blah, blah
I have the ability to pursue the truth,
I’m a caring person,
I’m compassionate,
I’m brave,
I also said something
That I was not sure about.
I still had doubts about
Who I am,
Do I really know
A true caring person would behave?
Do I really know
How to be compassionate?
Am I really brave?
If I had never experienced
Any kind of things
That involved those qualities,
I would never really know
The true meaning of it.
I have experienced so much
Ups and downs in life,
But only when I know the truth,
God exists,
Only when I truly listen to the voice,
I know how to be brave.
