I Believe In God

The most challenging moments for me,
When I was sitting in that room, with a bunch of Buddhists
I was so frustrated and agitated to argue
There’s the God … …
They wouldn’t listen, with a smile
They argued too,
With confidence,
With tolerance,
With the kindness, I felt.

I was forced to smile, and went back home,
I asked myself,
Whoever you are, a Buddhist, or a Taoist, or whatever
Do you see the point?
Where are the voices coming from?
What causes so much suffering?
Do you know the concept of sin?
Are there so many spirits out there, telling you?
The voices say, “Do this,” “Don’t do that.”

When you have your own way of thinking,
You accept a certain saying, and then you act
You feel the same, you become one with the voice;
That manifests in your life, and persuades you,
Then you say aloud, “There’s no God!”
“I am an atheist.”

A poet, like a bluejay trying to make you happy, I can make it if you see me every day, and you talk to me as you wish, I'd love to sing to respond to the voice
