Every Word Means

“As newborn infants, form a longing for
The unadulterated milk of the word,
So that by means of it you may
Grow to salvation.” -1 Peter 2:2

Every word means,
Every thought is decisive,
Every move follows it,
Every deed, indeed.

Seriously,
I have to be very careful,
I have to watch my every thought,
Coming and going.

Is it right for the right purpose?
Why am I having it right now?
Is it irrelevant to what I want?
I’m responsible for it.

It’s my birthday,
I’m a newborn baby,
The future is great for me,
I don’t want to miss it.

Every bite of food is nutritious
For my body and growth,
I’m longing for
The best of it.

So I can grow up constantly
With joy,
To be healthy,
To be safe.
