What are you cherishing?
What’s your treasure in life
The things you deem good
Always there with you,
Decorate you around,
It’s in your speech.
It’s in your action,
It shows who you are,
But when your ego cheats you
You only see the appearance around you,
You decorate your body with it,
You give it to others.
It’s all there,
People can see
People can feel
The value you possess,
The body cannot give anything valuable,
Only the soul knows what it wants.
The soul knows how to give
The soul knows what to receive
For itself
And from others,
Which makes you feel good
Which makes you feel alive.
If I worship the ego
I’ll be a hypocrite,
I look pretty to the eyes
To the people around me,
But when I worship the truth
I’m going to be a real warrior.
