A great marriage that is long,
It’s designed by God.
They have the same values, the same outlook,
The same belief,
So the harmony in the family
In this true love.
Abraham believed in God,
So he wouldn’t let his son Isaac
Have a wife, who worships idols, or something else.
He sent his servant to Haran,
Where his brother Nahor lived,
To find a girl, be the wife of Isaac.
The chief servant reached the place, sat by a well,
He prayed to the Lord,
To send him the right girl to meet for his master.
Just as the servant praying,
A beautiful young woman came to the well,
She drew the water and filled her pitcher.
The servant came to her, to ask for water,
She did and kindly treated him with respect.
Later, the servant found out,
It was Rebekah, her father Bethuel, the son of Nahor.
That’s what exactly the servant’s looking for,
Then he bowed his head and thanked God.
